The wave of woman-led protests that emerged in Iran in September after the police arrest and murder of an Iranian Kurdish woman, Zhina Mahsa Amini, have inspired many women around the world. What have been the feminist dimension of this uprising? What can feminist struggles in Iran and the U.S. learn from each other to confront the current global wave of authoritarianism?
